New Accounts for Users to be Added to Currently Existing Groups

These accounts are normally opened within one business day, but the timing is dependent on when approval is received from the group approver.

Training Restrictions on New Accounts

For continued use of the cluster, all new users are required to attend the ACCRE Cluster Computing Classes within the first two months of opening their accounts. These classes cover introductory topics on the use of the cluster. See the training pages to review the requirements. A reminder of this is included in the introductory e-mail which is automatically sent to you when we create your account. However, if classes are currently in session you do not have to wait for your account to be opened to attend.

This form is to request a group member account only. If you are not a member of an active group using the cluster, please go back and request Option 2 for a guest account. OSG users request an account from the grid policy page.

Please complete all non-optional fields to avoid possible delay in opening your account.

No confidential, export controlled, or proprietary information is allowed in any ACCRE Request Tracker help tickets.

When your new ACCRE VAMPIRE account is opened, you will be emailed a temporary password. You are required to change your password immediately to a unique password which you maintain for your confidential use.

ACCRE-forum Mailing List

ACCRE staff will post updates on any issues that have significant impact on cluster usage to ACCRE-forum mailing list. Any subscribed member can post, and we encourage users to exchange information and ideas with each other as well as with ACCRE staff. We hope discussions will include general computing issues, such as code development, as well as cluster-specific topics, such as scripts users have written to more efficiently submit jobs.
